Turkish Nationalists Clash with Kurds at Ankara University

TEHRAN (FNA)- Police reportedly used tear gas and water cannons to break up clashes between Kurdish and nationalist students at Ankara's Middle East Technical University (ODTU) campus.

The hours-long scuffles left 15 people injured late on Wednesday, AFP reported.

The clashes reportedly erupted when students sympathizing with Turkey's Kurdish insurgents confronted those from a nationalist group.

Police were called in to put an end to the violence, which also wrecked several vehicles and damaged property.
